BEARING; The compass direction from a position to a destination measured to the nearest degree; also call an azimuth. In a GPS receiver, bearing usually refers to the direction to a waypoint.

Bearing (BRG); The bearing will denote the direction of the route in the context of a compass direction from one waypoint to another. Once you have entered a waypoint, the GPS will give you the compass bearing you will need to follow to reach it.
